DESCRIPTION
Top spec Mk2 Seeley G50 in classic drum brake configuration, this is not only a beautifully presented example but also a proven & competitive bike, ridden in recent years by Michael Rutter at the Classic TT & Peter Bardell (amongst others) at CRMC events.
Fred Walmsley built & maintained 95 bore (x 70.38 stroke) SOHC G50 engine. Magnesium cases, one piece crank, lightweight Carrillo rod, forged Omega piston, ceramic plated billet alloy barrel, special L169 cylinder head with 'lead free' hard valve seats & special inlet port, special 'Fred' cam in magnesium cambox all manufactured at Molnar Precision.
MPL/PVL self generating twin spark ignition with built in rev limiter at 9,200 rpm
Mikuni 44mm carb
TTI 6 speed LW55 lightweight magnesium gearbox currently with left foot change
Belt primary drive with lightened clutch and carbon belt cover
Roger Titchmarsh bronze welded Mk2 Seeley frame
Dick Hunt magnesium slider forks with K-Tech internals & magnesium yokes
Dick Hunt replica 230mm Fontana 230mm 4LS front drum brake built into alloy rim with stainless spokes
