DESCRIPTION

Using our years of experience in the manufacture of Forged pistons for big air cooled engines revving over 10,000rpm, we designed with our partners at Omega Piston`s this High Compression piston for all 98mm bore 2 valve Ducati engines.

This includes the DS1100, 1100 Multistrada and 1100 Hypermotard engines. 

These are the lightest 98mm 2 valve Ducati piston`s on the market, weighing just 378g each bare, 465g complete with pin, rings & clips, and are the most advanced in terms of their design. 

Supplied as standard with a case hardened Gudgeon pin, nitrided rings and a spare circlip.

For £25 extra the piston can be supplied with a DLC coated pin, which is something we highly recommend and is absolutely essential if using our bushless little end conrod. 

For £25 extra the piston can be supplied with TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated rings. Again this is something we very highly recommend in ceramic (Nikasil) bores.
