DESCRIPTION

This double sided front brake was used only for the 1962 Manx Norton. We manufacture this assembly with the aid of the original Norton drawings, and we have made detail improvements to resist cracking. We have also deleted the lock ring, which was prone to rub on the brake plate, and come undone if the wheel was put in the wrong way round!

Cast in magnesium, and machined on our state of the art CNC lathes, the shoes are skimmed by our experts on a manual machine to suit the hub they will fit in, to ensure an exceptionally good brake right from the first use.

If you require your hub to be built into a wheel our specialists will do this, using an alloy rim, 40 spoke holes and 8/10 gauge butted spokes. Please specify what size rim you require.
