DESCRIPTION

Cast alloy chaincase specifically for the Manx engine to accommodate both a 25mm wide belt drive primary and a standard Lucas alternator. We have made special patterns, then sand cast the components before machining on one of our range of modern CNC machining centres.All nicely dowelled together with generous sealing faces & a centre bolt fixing. Available in 'raw' condition (as cast) or fully polished.

Requires the crankcase to be drilled & tapped to take the chaincase. (MPL crankcases can be supplied ready done). M6 screws supplied. You will also need a centre bolt/sleeve nut assembly, which is subject to additional charge.

This can also be supplied, to special order, to suit Norton Twins in a Featherbed frame, for those customers who want to get rid of the pressed steel chaincase. This option is subject to a small cost surcharge and a couple of weeks delay. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.
