DESCRIPTION

The ultimate Norton Featherbed frame. Ideal for your Manx, Triton or Special! Manufactured from CNC bent T45 tubes, precision tube lasered at the ends and TIG welded. Headstock and swing arm cross tube bored post-fabrication to ensure perfect alignment to the swing arm spindle. Swing arm spindle carried on needle roller bearings with radial needle bearings to cope with the side loads and give minimum 'sticktion'. The swing arm, which is included in the price, is based on the original drawing, but is subtly braced in the corners & slightly widened where the tyre sits so that modern 18" x 130mm tyre can just be accommodated, but it must be appreciated that the standard Norton chain line would foul this tyre.

The frame is manufactured exactly as Norton drew it, and believe us, they knew what they were doing! 3 Championship wins in as many years and over 50 race wins prove this. Can also be suitable for Tritons, Cafe racers, projects and custom builds.

Bare metal or powder coated available.

We can also supply this with pre 1954 'Bolt up' subframe if you require absolute authenticity for an earlier bike but this is subject to significant price premium & and may involve some delay.
