DESCRIPTION
This is our Belt Drive Clutch to suit all Norton/AMC type gearboxes, as used on our Manxes and G50/7R's.
It is a splined plate 6 spring dry clutch suitable for a wide range of Classic Motorcycles, Tritons & Cafe Racers. The standard centre requires a minimum of 22mm of mainshaft spline length (full depth spline, don't include the 'runout') to fit correctly. Sleeve Nut centres also available for very short main shafts. This will change the alignment but with the versatility of a belt that shouldnt be a major problem.
Drum Lightening is recommended to let the dust out of the drum, pressure plate lightening looks very pretty and reduces the weight of the pressure plate by 25%. Alloy plates lighten the assembly further. Note that because the alloy plates are thicker, the clutch will only accommodate 3 alloy plates + 4 fibre plates which is good for around 60 hp dry. With the thinner steel plates we can fit in 4 + 5 fibre plates so that will transmit about 75 hp dry.

All components are available individually as spares. We can offer complete belt drive set ups using this clutch for Manx, G50/7R, Norton twins & Triumph pre-unit twins. There are so many possible permutations that we request that you contact us by email to discuss.
