TTI AMC 6 Speed Lightweight Gearbox
£4,250.00
DESCRIPTION
Forget every Norton gearbox that you have used in the past, the TTI gearboxes are on a different level. Manufactured in New Zealand by our friend Bruce Verdon's company (Bruce has had a couple of our bikes), we have been using & selling these gearboxes for over 10 years now, and the next failure wil be the first. They use a modern drum selector mechanism for a positive change with reduced pedal travel, stronger shafts & bigger bearings.
This is the latest LW55 6 speed magnesium gearboxes which we aim to have on the shelf in the UK, and which we use in our own race bikes. We consider them the optimum for up to around 75 BHP, 50 FT LB. Beyond that you should consider the HD variants. The LW55 is not available with a kickstart.
You have a choice on change direction, see drawing. You must appreciate that your actual pedal or linkage may be quite different from the drawing, so take time to ensure that you specify it correctly!!
There is a choice of mainshaft length, see drawing. Note that on the LW55 we only offer the Manx shell offset, if you want the Commando shell offset you must go for the standard AMC 6 speed gearbox. See: https://www.tga.co.uk/products/tti-amc-6-speed-gearbox/
Manx: 22mm of clutch spline plus 15mm of thread
